My Favorite Drugstore/ High-end Foundations

Over the last year I have really gotten into foundations. Before, I would only use either a BB cream or a powder...but I have started to appreciate a good foundation to create a gorgeous canvas for my makeup. Keep in mind that I have dry skin, so most of my favorite foundations are better suited for normal to dry skin, however a lot of the ones I mention have matching options in an oily skin formulation!

Revlon Nearly Naked (120 Vanilla)
I first purchased this foundation, wanting it to be a dupe for my all time favorite high-end foundation (NARS Sheer Glow). Although I would not say it is a dupe, the colors are exact dupes for each other. I love the Revlon Nearly Naked because in the winter it matches my skin perfectly, blends in very nicely and looks natural on the skin. You really don't need too much of this foundation for it to go a long way. It has nice staying power and does not cake up on my dry skin (even in the winter).

NARS Sheer Glow (Light 4 Deauville)
This is my all-time favorite high-end foundation. It gives me the most natural, glowing, perfect look I could ever want for my skin. It blends like an absolute dream, and a little goes a long way! It is pretty pricey, but for me it is worth every penny! Now that I am getting a bit darker for the summer I'll be going to Sephora for a deeper shade. I would highly recommend this to anyone with dry skin who is looking to try out a high-end foundation. NARS also has a Sheer Matte formula if you have oily skin!

Laura Geller Baked Liquid Foundation (Light)
I have a full review of this product you can view here, but long story short I love this high-end foundation! The whole idea of a "baked-liquid foundation" is amazing to me and all of the ingredients that go into it. I love Laura Geller products in general but this one really knocked it out of the park for me. I think that this foundation could work for both oily and dry skin, because it looks gorgeous on my dry skin however it is not overly dewy or matte.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream (Medium)
This has been my go-to everyday face product for almost the whole month of May. It gives me the perfect amount of coverage for day-to-day, looks so natural, is a perfect shade match and is so low-maintenance. I also really love the original Maybelline Dream BB Cream that comes in the pink packaging but this one I have been reaching for the most lately. If you have oily skin you may need to set this one with a powder often.

Loreal True Match Lumi (W5 Sand Beige)
This is my ride or die foundation. I loved this one for years now and have repurchased it on multiple occasions. The True Match Lumi is a dry skinned girls dream foundation. It has zero shimmer, but really makes my dry skin look dewy and fresh. All of the Loreal True Match lines have amazing shade ranges, also the original True Match foundation is perfect for oily skin. I love to use this foundation in the summer. I also really appreciate that the packaging of the True Match Lumi has a pump (in my opinion every foundation packaging should be equipped with a pump).

Maybelline Fit Me (125 Nude Beige)
This is a new comer to my foundation favorites. It has been out for a while now, but I just decided to give it a try a few weeks ago. The original Fit Me is so amazing for dry skin. It is natural looking (literally looks just like my skin but enhanced), gives me a nice dewy finish and is also super easy to blend. I will say that it does transfer a bit onto my clothes so sometimes I do need to set it lightly with some powder. They have great shade ranges and is very very very affordable. They also now have a Matte and Pore-less option which is ideal for oily skin!
