My Favorite Spring/Summer Lip Glosses

During the warmer months I like to stow away my deep vampy lip colors and lean more towards vibrant pinks/purples. I decided to go through my collection and pick out a few of my favorites that I love to wear during spring/summer.

Buxom Full on Lip Polish Pink Lady: This gloss is a creamy gloss with absolutely no shimmer which I love. It does have a "plumping"/tingly effect so they may turn some people away. These Buxom glosses are also packed with vitamins A and E so they leave your lips very soft.

NYX Butter Gloss in Sugar Cookie: The NYX Butter Glosses are very pigmented and full coverage. Sugar Cookie is a gorgeous vibrant purple (with pink undertones) which is a bit out of my comfort zone, but since it is a gloss I think it's easier to pull off. Especially in the summer.

Gerard Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Cocoa Bean: Some people might think wait why is a dark almost brown nude in your spring/summer favorites? I love this for the summer because I think these darker nudes look absolutely stunning on darker skin tones. With a tan/a nice summer glow this will be my go to nude for the summer.

NYX Butter Gloss in Peaches and Cream: This is a gorgeous coral pink which is one of my favorite shades for summer. Again it has all the benefits of the Sugar Cookie Butter Gloss, plus I love that they smell like vanilla!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Coral Reef: This one is a real oldie-but-goodie! I've repurchased this lip gloss multiple times! For me it is the perfect coral/orange lipgloss for summer! I love to wear it over a nude lipstick or on it's own. I also love the formula of the Super Lustrous glosses because they have great wear time but are not sticky at all.

BITE Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in Strangefruit: I think this gloss would be so wearable on so many different skin tones. It is a bit deeper than the NYX Sugar Cookie making it more of a berry shade-- so it would be easier to pull off. These glosses are so creamy, pigmented and packed with goodness! They are made like an actual smoothie containing coconut, mango, strawberry and fruit oils. I'm not sure if this exact color was limited edition or not (I got it last year in a value pack from Sephora) but there is a very similar shade called Mangosteen.

Maybelline Color Elixir in Orange Aglow: This is an amazing orange toned gloss! I absolutely love wearing this in the summer, and it's pigmented enough to wear it on it's own! The Color Elixir's are very pigmented and have a great shade range.

What are some of your favorite glosses for spring/summer?
xoxo, Nikole
