How To Touch Up Ombre/Balayage Hair At Home

I have had this sort of ombre hair for probably 3 years now. I love it because it is so low maintenance but looks so chic in any season. Before I had the ombre my hair was all of the blonde that is now at my ends, but I really just let it grow out and thats how I first got my hair to be ombre. Then I decided to keep it and would go to the salon to touch up the blonde and get rid of some of the brunette to make it blend better.
The last time I was at the salon, the girl who did my hair did an amazing job but she mentioned to me that my hair looked really similar to Jessie James Decker who did a tutorial on YouTube of how she does her own hair at home. Well I watched it and thought I could totally do that myself too when my ombre needed to be touched up a bit.

As you'll see in the video, I used the Revlon Frost and Glow box in the medium to dark hair option/ Honey (I got mine from CVS for $8.99). I did the exact technique Jessie did in her video and I am so excited for how it turned out. I love that now when I need a bit more blonde, I'll just do it myself!!!

I will say that I wish I would have added a bit more blonde, but it was my first time ever dying my hair myself so I played it on the safe side.

Not only did this allow me to save a ton of money, I also got to do it exactly how I wanted to which I liked.

I by NO MEANS am a professional and I know my technique was probably mortifying to real hair stylists, but this worked for me and is how I will continue to touch up my ombre.
