Current Beauty Favorites

I haven't done a favorites post in a while now, so I thought instead of doing my "April Favorites" I would just do my current beauty favorites.

MAC Springsheen blush isn't a new product by any means...but a few months back when I was browsing my local MAC counter I picked it up on a whim. I really love this shade and think it is absolutely perfect for spring/summertime. I think with a light hand it is perfect for fair skintones but will really look great on someone with a tan/ deeper complexion.

I did a full first impressions review on the Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation not too long ago. I love that this product is so lightweight but gives a nice coverage! They have a ton of colors to choose from and the packaging is adorable!

The Gerard Cosmetics lipstick in Nude is my perfect nude! I used to love Revlon's Nude Attitude and this is such a similar shade. However the Gerard Cosmetics lipsticks are so creamy, pigmented and don't dry out my lips which I love! Plus I can't get over how gorgeous the packaging is.

I have been using these brushes non-stop since I got them both around Christmas time. The E.L.F. Small Tapered Brush is perfect for setting under-eye concealer. It is so fluffy but small enough to add the perfect amount of powder. I also love it for adding powder underneath my contour to give it more shape!

The MAC 234 SE (Special Edition) brush is my favorite eye brush for creating blown out eye looks. It is so easy to pick up shadow and just blend all over the lid and into the crease and you are left with a flawless blown out eye look!

I have been obsessed with wearing false lashes lately. I've branched out and tried a few different mink lash brands but my favorite at the moment is Flutter Lashes. I have them in the styles Serena (shown above) and Blake. I love Flutter lashes because they are amazing quality, can be used over and over...and they always have a coupon code! (Use Flutter20 for 20% off).

I normally don't gravitate towards high-end mascaras. However, I got this one as a freebee from Sephora and thought better not let it go to waste. I can't stop using the Makeup Forever Smokey Extravagant Mascara! I love the brush, it really gives that flared out look the the outer-lashes and reaches in to the inner lashes nicely! The formulation is not clumpy at all and really gives me length and volume which I love. I will be purchasing the full size of this when I run out of the sample.

I have used the Essence Gel Liner in Midnight in Paris ever since I bought it. It is a great gel liner and is only $2 at Ulta. I would recommend this to anyone who loves gel liner!

For a while I have been searching for a new face wash with salicylic acid. If face wash does not contain that my face just breaks out and nothing will stop the blemishes. I had been loving my St. Ives Green Tea redness reducing cleanser for years and years, and they just discontinued it (tears)!!! I had been going on with other face washes that just were making my face worse. Until I found this, Alba Botanica Acne Dote Deep Pore Wash at Walmart. It was around $7, and instantly cleared up my face. Especially it got all the little black heads that come up on the nose! I really love this stuff.

If you follow me on Instagram this will come as no surprise. The NYX Lip Pencil in Nude Beige is my holy grail lipliner. I have literally bought 3 backups of it incase it ever is discontinued. I think it is the perfect nude/grey/brown shade.

So many people struggle with finding a contour shade that isn't too orange or too muddy. Well this is the happy medium and I can't believe I've never heard anyone talk about it! The OCC Creme Colour Concentrate in John Doe is the perfect cool toned cream for contouring! It mimics shadows and bones so perfectly and literally blends into the skin like butter. I highly recommend this.

LA Splash Liquid Lipstick in Ghoulish. Wow do I love this product. The shade is to die edgy. The quality is out of this world, the product literally is waterproof. I have taken a shower with this on, doesn't budge at all. If you use a makeup wipe, you really need to scrub to get this stuff off it's insane. The one downfall is that it smells a bit like chlorine??? Besides that this is amazing.

Another one that should come as no surprise is the Wet N Wild Contouring Palette in Carmel Toffee. This is a great product for the price of $4. I found mine at Walmart, and can I just acknowledge how hard it is to find a matte bronzer at the drugstore let alone a good one that is not too orange?! This bronzer is cool-toned, matte and pigmented. I love it for bronzing up my whole face or contouring. The highlight shade is perfect for setting under-eye concealer because it has no shimmer and is a great creamy beige shade.

NYX HD Blushes are crazy pigmented, affordable and have a great shade range. I love using this one in Taupe to contour my cheekbones because it is a perfect grey-toned powder which allowes you to mimic bone structure. I love to take a tiny bit on my Real Techniques Buffer Brush and lightly carve out the hollows of my cheeks.

Those are my current favorites, I would love to hear what some of your favorites have been?!
xoxo, Nikole
