Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette Review

I have been eyeing the Urban Decay Vice 3 for months now...and Santa must have noticed because he left me one under my tree this Christmas! I was so excited to unwrap this and play around with all the gorgeous colors.

One of the things that interested me the most in this palette was the wide color selection, not only with bright vibrant colors but also neutral shades too! This palette would be absolutely perfect for girls just starting with makeup who want a variety of color choices, not just all neutral such as the Naked Palettes.

The Vice 3 retails for $60 and comes with 20 exclusive shades, a double-ended brush and a cute carrying pouch.

Hands down, Urban Decay eyeshadows have always been my favorites...and this is no exception. All 20 shades are extremely pigmented, have great color payoff and are very easy to blend. I will say though that the shadows range in texture, some colors are a bit more buttery than others (I will note in the swatches).  Not only do you get a great color selection, but also a great variety of finished are included in this palette (matte, satin, shimmer and metallic). I marked my favorites from the palette with a * in the swatches below.

Swatches from left-to-right
Truth- Pale pink-nude matte
Undone- Pink-biege mostly matte with soft pearl shimmer
*Downfall- Warm light brown matte (very buttery texture)

*Dragon- Bright shimmery green metallic (very buttery)
Freeze-Medium blue with multi-dimensional glitter metallic

*Brokedown- Golden brown with micro gold shimmer metallic (very buttery)

Vanity-Smokey eggplant with mirco-dimensional glitter metallic
*Lucky- Bronze metallic (very buttery)
*Reign- Rich brown satin (very buttery)
Bobby Dazzle- White with pale-gold micro-glitter metallic

Alein- Pink-peach with golden sheen satin
Alchemy- Deep fushia satin (very buttery)

*Last Sin- Champaign with silver micro-glitter shimmer (very buttery)
*Angel- Light taupe with silver micro-glitter shimmer

I would completely recommend this palette to everybody. I honestly do not have one complaint about it and am so excited to continue to play around with it. If you have this palette comment below on which shade is your favorite!

Are you interested in trying the Vice 3?

xoxo, Nikole
