Current Hair Obsession: Half Up Half Down Bun

Ever since I saw Kylie Jenner rockin' the "I'm in the middle of doing my hair so I have half of it up in a bun so I can work with the rest" look I have kind-of been obsessed with it. The whole grunge look is super cool right now and this hair style works great with it. Another plus-it is supposed to be messy so it literally takes like five seconds to do.

The shorter your hair is-the easier it is going to be for you to create this look. However, I have really long hair and I can still make it work for me! Basically all you want to do is take a small section of hair from the top of your hair, you want it to be small because your bun is supposed to be pretty small.

Don't worry about if there is bumps, just run your fingers through the top of your hair and get it as smooth as you want (but remember, this is supposed to be a messy, effortless look).

Once you have your hair how you want it, just go a head and start twisting that hair you have in your hands. Once it is twisted up, go ahead and start wrapping it around itself in a counter clockwise motion.

Once you have it all wrapped take either an elastic or bobby pins to secure it down to your head!

Then just pull on it a little if you want it to look a bit more messy, add some hairspray and your done!
