The other day I had a great girls day with my mom. We got pedis and went shopping. This is the makeup look I wore that day and wanted to do a tutorial showing exactly how I did everything!
Face:- Start out by moisturizing of course
- Then apply foundation, I use my Loreal True Match Lumi in W6 Sun Beige. I apply with a flat top brush from e.l.f cosmetics
- Next I applied a brightening concealer under my eyes, the Hard Candy Glamoflouge, in a triangle shape and patted out with my fingers (do not wipe concealer only pat down)
- Now I did a light dusting of my favorite pressed powder also from Loreal True Match, with my favorite Kabuki brush from e.l.f cosmetics
- Next I took my Victoria's Secret Mega Glow Bronzer on that same Kabuki brush and lightly contoured the hollows of my cheeks, forehead and neck
- Finally I took my favorite blush...the Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure by Hourglass and lightly dusted that on the apples of my cheeks and back towards my temples
- NOW BLEND BLEND BLEND!!!
Eyes:
- First I start by taking a very small amount of that same concealer I used for under my eyes and applied that to the lids of my eyes as a base
- Next I take my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow pomade in the shade Chocolate and filled in my brows (watch my eyebrow tutorial here)
- Next it is time for the eye shadows!
- First taking the gold shade called "Trick" with a flat shader brush apply this all over the middle section of your eye (only the middle do not get it in the inner quarter or outer quarter yet)
- Now take the light pink shade called "Burnout" also on a flat brush and apply this shade to the inner and outer quarters this is going to make the middle of your eye pop and look more awake!
- Now, on a fluffy crease brush take the shade "Nooner" and apply this in windshield whipper motions to the crease of your eye
- Next take the lightest shade called "Strange" on a flat brush and apply this under your brow-bone to highlight
- We are now going to move on from the eye shadow (but we will be coming back later) to apply the winged liner. If you don't know how to apply winged liner I have a video showing briefly how I do it here if you are interested in seeing
- Once your winged liner is applied go back to the Naked 3 Palette and on a pencil brush take the shade "Factory"...starting at where the winged liner ends take that shade and work it into the outer v/crease of your eye to add definition
- Take a little bit more of that shame shade on the same pencil brush and run that under your lower lash line, don't forget to blend this out to create a smokey effect
- Now go ahead and add your mascara!
Lips:
- For the lips I used NYX Butter Lipstick in Taffy and applied NYX Butter Gloss in Eclair over top!
And you're all done!
xoxo, Nikole
