Drug Store Dupes For High-End Products

Who doesn't love saving a little extra money, for basically the exact same product? You may want something just because the packaging says NARS or Urban Decay, but really if you look a little longer you might find that some of those products you love (but your wallet tends to not love) can be found for half the price at your local drug store.

I love dupe posts because they are exciting when you realize some products you might already own are actually identical to high-end ones you might have thought twice about because of the price tag.

This is my first dupe post and I am only doing them as I come across products I 100% believe are dupes and have tried for myself. I will be doing more as I come across them! If you are looking for a M.A.C. lipstick dupe be sure to check out my Lovelyish post on affordable M.A.C. lipstick dupes

Stila Kitten vs. L'Oreal Iced Latte

Stila Kitten is a makeup world cult favorite in the eye shadow category. It is literally the perfect shimmery nude all over lid or highlight color. Priced at $18 for a single eyeshadow though, it is pretty steep. The L'Oreal Infaliable eyeshadow in Iced Latte is almost identical and looks just as gorgeous! Oh, and did I mention it is almost half the cost at eight bucks a shadow?!

NARS Orgasm Blush vs. Milani Luminoso Baked Blush

Another cult favorite product is NARS Blush in Orgasm, it is universally flattering for all skin-tones and works with any makeup look you might be going for that day. Again, going for $30 per blush, it is definitely not budget friendly. Milani which can be found at CVS, offers an amazing alternative in their baked blush line, Luminoso is identical to Orgasm. Luminoso can be purchased for around $8.

M.A.C. Cosmetics Prep+Prime vs. Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer
M.A.C.'s Prep+Prime line is great for highlighting the under-eye area, covering up darkness and brightening the face. It comes in a few different shades, my favorites are Radiant Rose and Light Boost. However, it is priced at $25 each. Maybelline offers an extremely similar product from the drugstore, Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer. They both have creamy consistency, amazing coverage and brightening effect. The difference is Maybelline's is half the price at eight bucks. Maybelline also has two shades that are very similar to the M.A.C. shades in Ivory (similar to Light Boost) and Radiant (similar to Radiant Rose)

Urban Decay Primer Potion vs. E.L.F. Cosmetics Eyeshadow Primer

Urban Decay is famous for their coveted Primer Potion. It is great, but it costs 20 bucks for a full-sized tube. E.L.F. Cosmetics offers two eyeshadow primer options that work just as great as the Urban Decay one and has the exact same consistency and shade! The E.L.F. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer ($3) and the regular E.L.F. Eyeshadow Primer ($1)...and for that price you could buy 20 tubes of the original E.L.F primers.

What are some makeup dupes that you know and love!?
xoxo, Nikole
