December/Holiday Look-book

This post is going to be a collaborated OOTD look-book that I wore throughout December and the holiday season.

The first look shown to the left was my New Year’s Eve outfit. My favorite part of this outfit was my colorful peplum top (Charlotte Russe) which was what I based the rest of the look around. My blazer, statement necklace and black jeans are also from Charlotte Russe. Not shown in the picture are my black booties which are from you guessed it…Charlotte Russe. For my hair I curled it using my Conair curling wand.

For my NYE makeup look I went with a colorful smokey eye. For this look I used MAC’s Sketch and colors from the Naked 3 palette. I also did a winged liner to make it a little bit more dramatic.

The second outfit in the picture was an outfit I wore to work the day before Christmas Eve, I was feeling in the Christmas-chic and decided to go with it. My entire outfit once again would be from Charlotte Russe from the cropped burgundy sweater all the way down to my black combat boots.

For my makeup from the second outfit I went with very natural eyes only applying lengthening mascara and a matte brown eyeshadow (MAC’s Soft Brown) to create definition in my crease. I wanted the lips to be the star of the show as I was going for a bold ombre lip effect here. To do so I used a darker burgundy lip liner from Jordana in Cabernet, and as for my lipstick which I focused on the inner parts of the lip I used a Wet and Wild Fergie collection lipstick. Both are very affordable products.

My third outfit of this look-book I wore while I was in NYC the last weekend in December. It was cold and rainy so I was going for a layered up look. For this look I am wearing my black leather jacket from Tilly’s, chambray button down/graphic t/black jeans all from Charlotte Russe, knitted white socks from Marshals, and my Dr. Martens boots.
For this look I did a bold winged liner and a bold dark matte lip. In the crease of my eye I used from the Naked Basics palette “Naked 2” to create definition. On my lips I used Wet and Wild’s matte lipstick in “cherry bomb” one of my favorite shades at the moment (and only $1.99).
